CoLife runs complimentary background checks on renters and homeowners, ensuring a safe and comfy living space. We also provide a $500k liability protection policy for renters and a $1M policy for homeowners.
Owner occupied homeowners are the best landlords there are! If the toilet or AC breaks, it's their toilet or AC too so they get it fixed ASAP.
Whether you're looking for somewhere to live long term or need a place for just a few months, CoLife has you covered.
Colife allows renters to pay monthly. semi-monthly or weekly, but always pays homeowners the full month's rent on the 1st of the month.

At CoLife, we have a comprehensive vetting process to ensure the quality and reliability of homeowners on our platform. Our vetting process includes a free-of-charge thorough nationwide background check and a meticulous review of each homeowner's application.
In addition to the background check, we carefully review each homeowner's application. This includes evaluating their property details, rental requirements, and any specific preferences they may have. We pay close attention to factors such as cleanliness, property condition, and adherence to CoLife's guidelines and standards.
By combining the complimentary background check and application review, we aim to create a reliable and trustworthy community of homeowners on our platform. This rigorous vetting process helps us ensure that renters have access to high-quality, well-maintained properties and fosters a sense of security and peace of mind for everyone involved in the CoLife experience.
At CoLife, we understand the importance of finding a home that suits your needs and timeline. We have a diverse selection of move-in ready homes available on our platform, allowing you the flexibility to move in at any time that is convenient for you.
Once you have successfully completed the application process and found a compatible match, you can discuss the move-in details directly with the homeowner. They will provide you with information regarding the availability of the property and coordinate a move-in date that aligns with your preferences. Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible, ensuring that you can settle into your new CoLife home whenever you are ready.
All of our complimentary background and credit checks are done by a third party trusted vendor. We keep all other private information, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc., private, until an interested party has completed their background and credit check.
For all of our renters and homeowners, if you’re not happy we will find you a different living situation for free (you’ll of course have to check this with your lease as well).
For Renters, CoLife:
• Protects up to $20,000 limit, a $100 deductible, and a maximum of $2,500 for any one item.
• Runs complimentary background checks on all homeowners.
• Offers liability protection limit of $500,000 subject to a $2500 deductible including legal defense at our insurer’s expense by counsel of our insurer’s choice.
• We will find renters a new living situation for free if ever needed so long as they are an active member on our platform.
• All renters must complete a background check, free of charge, through our third party partner.
